Barcelona Ready To Do Another Transfer Business With Arsenal, Chase German Playmaker
Published: August 13, 2017Barcelona are considering a move for Arsenal's Germany international of Turkish descent Mesut özil.
The La Liga giants will shift their attention to the Gunners playmaker if they fail to land the services of Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho, according to Spanish outlet Don Balon.
And they have claimed that Ozil is not interested in renewing his contract with the Gunners and would be delighted to return to the Spanish League.
The 28-year-old was one of the stars of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, which earned him a move to Real Madrid, where he spent three years.
In recent years, Arsenal have sold some of their star players including Thomas Vermaelen, Alexander Hleb, Alex Song, Cesc Fabregas and Thierry Henry to Barcelona.
