Top Arsenal talent hunter Brian McDermott did some work for the London club this past weekend, according to reports.

The Daily Mail says the former Reading manager was among the 33,654 spectators at the Stade de la Beaujoire - Louis Fonteneau (Nantes), where Nantes faced off with Marseille on game week two in Ligue 1 on Saturday.

Nigeria international Chidozie Awaziem made his full home debut for Nantes in their 1-0 loss to Les Phocéens.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Marseille prodigy Boubacar Kamara, but the France U18 international was not in action against Nantes.

Awaziem, 20, has been loaned out by Portuguese club Porto for the entirety of this season.
