Chelsea Transfer Chief Emenalo Monitoring Steaua Young Stars Nedelcu, Coman, Man
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that former Nigeria international Michael Emenalo embarked on a scouting mission to Romania last weekend, few hours after Chelsea thrashed Stoke City 4-0 at the bet365 Stadium.

The Blues transfer chief was among the 26,883 spectators at the Arena Naţională in Bucharest to witness the Romanian Liga 1 tie between Steaua and city rivals Dinamo Bucharest.

The 30-year-old Serbian left-back Marko Momčilović might have stolen the headlines for scoring the only goal of the game in the 31st minute, but it is understood that Emenalo had other priorities.

The Chelsea technical director beamed his searchlight on 19-year-olds Florinel Coman and Dennis Man, and the young central defender Dragoș Nedelcu, 20.

Emenalo worked in Chelsea's scouting and coaching departments before he was appointed technical director in July 2011.

The 52-year-old oversaw the transfers of Alvaro Morata, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Davide Zappacosta and Danny Drinkwater to Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
