Nigerian Winger Tipped For Great Things Testing With West Brom
Published: October 16, 2017Premier League club West Brom have handed a trial to promising Nigerian winger Victor Sodeinde, with a view to offering him a contract ahead of the January transfer window.
National League club Maidstone United F.C have officially confirmed that Sodeinde started his trials with the Baggies on Monday, October 16.
The Nigerian is one of the top talents at Maidstone Academy and made the bench when the first team faced off against Macclesfield in the National League last month.
''Vic’s quick, he’s direct, he was top scorer in squad two in the academy last year and he’s moved up to squad one this year,'' Maidstone United coach Jay Saunders was quoted as saying by Kent Online.
''He can be a little bit erratic at times and a bit inconsistent but you normally find wingers/forwards are at that age.''
