Highly-Rated Central Defender Signs New Contract With Chelsea
Published: October 28, 2017Technically gifted central defender Jack Wakely has been rewarded with a new deal by Premier League champions Chelsea.
According to Chelsea youth-team guru, Chelsea Youth, Wakely has appended his signature to his first professional contract with Chelsea.
Born October 25, 2000, Wakely joined the Blues at U9 level and has impressed for their youth teams.
He has shown his versatility and capable of playing in multiple positions, anywhere across the back three or either side of the centre-back pairing.
This season, Wakely has established himself as a regular for Chelsea's U18 team, starting and going the distance in each of their eight games in the U18 Premier League.
