Victor Moses : I Signed My First Contract At The Age Of 13
Published: November 23, 2017Chelsea dazzler Victor Moses has revealed that he penned his first contract in England in his first year as a teenager.
The Nigeria international was playing football at the park just for fun before he caught the attention of a local youth league club based in London, Cosmos 90 FC.
Having honed his skills at Cosmos 90 FC, he was recommended to undergo trial at Crystal Palace and the Eagles offered him a schoolboy contract at the end of the exercise.
'''At 13 it was my first contact with organised football and when they saw the way I was playing with the other kids and around the park, they knew I had talent,'' Moses told bbc.com.
''It was Cosmos who actually told Crystal Palace about me. Palace came to have a look, liked what they saw and they took it from there.''
Born in Benin City, Victor Moses turned out for England U16, U17, U19 and U21 teams before he opted to represent Nigeria in 2011.
