Top Dribbler Arsenal Vs CSKA: Musa The Best Ahead Of Ozil, Iwobi & Golovin
Published: April 05, 2018Ahmed Musa impressed for CSKA Moscow even though they lost 4-1 to Arsenal in the quarterfinal of the Europa League at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday evening.
According to the statisticians at OPTA, the Leicester City loanee completed more dribbles than any other player, finishing the match with a game high five successful dribbles.
Despite Iwobi spending about half an hour on the pitch, the Hale End Academy product was the second top dribbler in the match along with Germany dazzler Mesut Ozil and CSKA duo Georgy Schennikov and Aleksandr Golovin, the four players took on the opposition three times.
With two shots attempted of which one was on target, Musa was CSKA's top man in that category, an honour he shares with Vasili Berezutski, Alan Dzagoev and Pontus Wernbloom.
In other categories, Musa made one key pass, won no fouls, was dispossessed on the ball by an Arsenal player once, was caught offside three times and touched the ball 35 times.
The lively Iwobi attempted one shot, made two key passes, won two fouls and had a passing accuracy of 86.4 percent.
The game ended as a contest after only 35 minutes, with Alexandre Lacazette and Aaron Ramsey scoring two goals each for the Gunners, while Aleksandr Golovin scored a consolation goal for the visitors on 15 minutes.
