Official : Beitar Jerusalem And Super Eagles Striker Mutually Agree To Part Ways
Published: December 15, 2018Nigeria international Aaron Samuel and Israeli Premier League club Beitar Jerusalem have reached a mutual agreement to part ways, six months before the initial agreement between club and player was due to run out.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that there was a clause inserted into the contract signed by the former CSKA Moscow star stipulating that he was free to leave the club at any point.
Getting Samuel off the wage bill will help Beitar Jerusalem balance their books as he was one of the highest paid players at the club.
The 24-year-old departs the capital outfit with one goal in four appearances, scored on his debut in a 5-1 loss to Bnei Yehuda.
Few weeks before the opening of the transfer window, Samuel is studying offers from clubs based in France, Spain and Croatia but he's in no rush to make a decision as it has to be the right club this time.
Samuel began his career abroad at VĂ¥lerenga in Norway, followed by spells with Sarpsborg 08, Guangzhou R&F, CSKA Moscow, Amkar Perm and Beitar Jerusalem.
