Sunderland Tell Tottenham, Man City, Southampton How Much It Will Cost To Sign Nigerian Hotshot
Published: December 24, 2018With the January transfer window set to open next week, former Super Eagles invitee Josh Maja is heavily linked with a departure from League One team Sunderland.
The Mirror UK says Sunderland are open to sell Maja to English clubs for just £1.5million knowing he can sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club from January 1.
The talented striker has been linked with possible moves to Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Southampton.
Maja was omitted from Sunderland's 3-1 loss to Portsmouth on Saturday due to doubts about his future at the club, though manager Jack Ross claimed he was recovering from illness.
The 19-year-old has put himself in the shop window thanks to his 13 goals for Sunderland in all competitions, which makes him the top scoring teenager in the top four divisions in England.
He played for the youth teams of Crystal Palace and Fulham, and trained with Manchester City before he was acquired by Sunderland in 2015.
