Watford's Success Reacts To Draw Against Newcastle United
Published: December 30, 2018Isaac Success took to social media to express his satisfaction in the wake of Watford's 1-1 draw with Newcastle United in a Premier League clash at Vicarage Road Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Magpies went in front on 29 minutes through a splendidly taken goal by Salomon Rondon but the Hornets were able to claim an equalising goal through Abdoulaye Doucoure with eight minutes left on the clock.
Though Success has been involved in every single game contested by the Hornets in all competitions this season, 22 in total, yesterday's match with Newcastle United was only the second time he started and went the distance in the Premier League.
The Nigeria international had two opportunities to restore parity in the closing minutes of the first half but both efforts from close range were saved by goalkeeper Dubravka.
The Watford number 10 posted on social media : ''Great fight from the boys to secure a point this afternoon we can only get Better.up to the next one 🐝''.
Javi Gracia's men, who are provisionally ninth in the table, travel to AFC Bournemouth in their first game of 2019.
