Official : England International Defender Inks New Liverpool Contract
Published: January 19, 2019Through their official website, Premier League pacesetters Liverpool have announced that England international Trent Alexander-Arnold has committed his future to the club after inking a new long-term deal.
The right back was part of the England squad to the 2018 World Cup and went the distance in the Champions League showpiece vs Real Madrid last season.
Commenting on the deal, the 20-year-old Alexander-Arnold said : ''I’m ecstatic and really proud. I feel privileged to have the support and the trust the club has in me to offer me a new deal.
''There was no doubt in my mind to sign and extend the years I have with the club. Hopefully we can achieve a lot of success in those years....''.

Alexander-Arnold is the seventh Liverpool first-teamer to agree a new deal with the club since April 2018, following in the footsteps of Andy Robertson, Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mane and Joe Gomez.
The Liverpool native has played nonstop at The Reds for fifteen years.
