Watford Set To Make Contract Decisions On Two Nigerian Players Turning Heads In England
Published: January 30, 2019Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Premier League side Watford are set to make contract decisions on two Nigerian starlets before the end of the season.
Flying Eagles invitee Jayden Bennetts and Emmanuel Adebiyi are in the second year of their scholarship which they signed ahead of the 2017-2018 campaign.
The two Nigerian teenagers and around nine other second-year scholars have not be informed if they'll be offered a professional contract and that decision will be made in a couple of months.
Dubbed the Nigerian Eden Hazard, Bennetts resembles the Belgium superstar in playing style as he has the ability to score and create goals.
Adebiyi is a deep-lying playmaker and orchestrator, who excels in short passes and combination play.
While Bennetts joined Watford at U8 level, Nigerian-born Adebiyi has been on the books of the club since the 2016-17 season.
The two players earned rave reviews from the Watford youth team coaches on the back of
their impressive performances in recent matches against Southampton (FA
Youth Cup) and Bishop's Stortford (Herts Senior Challenge Cup).
