Rodgers Is Right : Iheanacho Must Fight For His Place At Leicester
Kelechi Iheanacho has lost his place at Leicester City and new manager Brendan Rodgers has told the striker what he should do to be a prominent player for the Foxes.

According to Leicester Mecury, the former Manchester City wonderkid is a talented center-forward but isn't getting regular game-time because Jamie Vardy is doing fine at the moment.

The former Liverpool manager challenged Iheanacho to double his efforts at training if he must become one of his regulars before the end of the season.

The 22-year-old striker was an unused substitute when the Foxes beat Fulham 3-1 last weekend.

He will be hoping things change for him at Leicester as soon as possible because his inactive role could prevent him from making Gernot Rohr's squad to the AFCON tournament.

Iheanacho is behind Vardy in the pecking order and needs to grab every opportunity that comes his way.

Leicester City will travel to Turf Moor where they will tackle Burnley on Saturday and Rodgers will hope to record his second victory since he replaced Claude Puel three weeks ago.

As for Iheanacho, starting today's game seems impossible at the moment. However, he will hope to come into the game in the second half.
