Turkish Super Lig Most Expensive Player, Moses The Hero For Fenerbahce Vs Erzurum BB
Published: May 20, 2019Chelsea loanee Victor Moses was the hero of the day for Fenerbahce as they recorded a hard fought 1-0 win against BB Erzurumspor in the penultimate round of matches in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday evening.
The former Nigeria international was recently named the most valuable player in the Turkish Super Lig with a price tag of fourteen million euros.
A 59th minute penalty converted by Moses was enough for the Yellow Canaries to take all the three points from the home team who had in their starting line-up Emem Eduok.
Fenerbahce had a penalty claim when Soldado went down in the area after he was allegedly brought down by goalkeeper Ibrahim Semic, and referee Arslanboga awarded the visitors a penalty after consulting VAR.
The goalkeeper remained rooted to the spot when Moses stylishly converted the penalty and he celebrated his goal with a somersault, then paid tribute to fictional superhero Batman.
The right winger, who came off the bench in the 25th minute in today's clash, has now scored three goals in 13 matches in the Turkish top flight.
