Official : Star Midfielder Ingle Extends Contract With Chelsea Until 2021
Published: June 10, 2019Through a statement on their official website, Chelsea have announced that Chelsea Women's Players' Player of the Year, Sophie Ingle has extended her contract with the club.
The Wales international is now committed to The Blues until May 2021.
Ingle returned for a second spell at Chelsea in 2018 after spells at Liverpool and Bristol City Academy, and recorded 29 appearances during the 2018-2019 season.
Reacting to her new deal, the 27-year-old said : ''I really enjoyed my first season being back here, obviously we had a good season and it was a no-brainer to extend my contract.
''I think I’ve grown massively. I’ve definitely become fitter, stronger, and being around the girls in this squad, with so many nationalities, it’s good to get to know the different types of players and different personalities.''

Ingle played for Vale Wanderers, Dinas Powys and Cardiff City in her homeland before signing for Chelsea Women in 2012.
