Musa Fit To Start Vs Guinea; Chukwueze & Ola Aina Not Initially Named In Line-Up Vs Burundi
Published: June 25, 2019
Ahmed Musa could return to the Super Eagles starting line-up as they look to qualify for the last sixteen of the Africa Cup of Nations with a win against Guinea on Wednesday afternoon.
The Al-Nassr winger was among the players that fell ill upon the team's arrival in Ismailia for the second phase of preparations and was introduced off the bench in the 58th minute against Burundi.
''We are happy to have again Kalu and Musa who is fit to start the game, we will have a choice to make, there is real competition which is good for us because the competition will make them stronger, I hope,'' Rohr told reporters, including allnigeriasoccer.com.
''We have to be careful with the atmosphere in the team, between the players who are starting and the other ones not starting but we don't have problems about it.''

Rohr revealed that Jamilu Collins and Samuel Kalu were picked to start in the left-back and right wing positions respectively against the Swallows on Saturday but had to be dropped because of health-related reasons.
''The other day in the last training session we lost two players, Collins through injury and Kalu with this incident and two other players replaced them and they did well.
''Ola did well, Chukwueze did well. They replaced Kalu and Collins who were supposed to start the match in the last moment.
''It means the group is mentally very strong and able to face each problem,'' Rohr said.
