New Chelsea Boss Lampard Names Two Nigerians On Roster For Pre-season Games In Dublin
Newly appointed Chelsea coach Frank Lampard has included two Nigeria-eligible players on the roster for upcoming matches in Dublin, Republic of Ireland.

Young striker Ike Ugbo and central defender Fikayo Tomori were in the traveling party that arrived in Dublin on Friday afternoon.

Tammy Abraham has been omitted from the group while promising youngsters Tariq Uwakwe and Faustino Anjorin have not been considered by the record goalscorer in a Blues jersey.

Of the five aforementioned players of Nigerian descent, only Abraham and Tomori have debuted for Chelsea's first-team.

Ugbo was back at Cobham for the second half of last season after an unsuccessful loan spell at Scunthorpe United and traveled with the Blues first team for a post-season friendly against New England in the United States but was a non-playing substitute.

Chelsea will face Bohemians on Wednesday, before playing St Patrick's Athletic next Saturday.
