Ola Aina Pre-Cameroon : Every Word On Cameroon, World-Class Pass To Ighalo, Replacing Collins, Loss To Madagascar
Chelsea product Ola Aina sat down with the Super Eagles Media team to discuss Saturday's eagerly anticipated Africa Cup of Nations round of 16 match against Cameroon.

During the interview, Aina also talked about replacing Jamilu Collins in the left-back role, reacted to the loss against Madagascar and cleared the air on the world class assist to Ighalo against Burundi.

Thoughts on the encounter against Cameroon?

OA :''It has been up and down but you know these things they don't come easy.

''We have Cameroon next but we just treat it like any other game, we have to be focused and hopefully we can come out with a good result.''

How do you feel covering up for the position you have been playing recently?

''I don't mind, at the end of the day I have to do a job, that's what I 'm there to do, I'll do it to the best of my ability every time.

''I always give my best. I feel fine, I feel good, I feel at ease so it's okay''.

There has been an argument about the first AFCON match, the pass you made then, was it for Alex or Ighalo actually?

OA : ''I am going to take you through this now. Alex gave me the ball, I took my first touch inside, there's no way I can back-heel to Alex, there's just no way because I'm here, Alex is there, Ighalo is there, Alex wasn't running, he was already standing looking.

''Everyone must have thought I was going to pass to Etebo or Ndidi but I saw Ighalo and I just tried and it came off.

''It's just something, when it comes in the mind you just try it and if it happens to come off right, it does.''

What do you think about the reaction to the loss to Madagascar ahead of the next game against Cameroon?

OA : ''This is football, we have up and downs, it's not always easy but I'd say the team always try our best once we get on the pitch, that's what we try to do.

''We try to do our best and we always try to win every game so that's what I can say. You stick with us, always support us.''
