Ndidi successfully made six challenges, more than any other player on the pitch and Ola Aina was the top interceptor with seven.
Samuel Chukwueze and Alex Iwobi had a joint team-high three key passes each, one less than Cameroon's Pierre Kunde.
Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui had the highest figure in clearances with nine, two more than the best Super Eagles player in that department William Troost-Ekong.
