Blackburn Working On Loan Deal For Fourth Youngest Nigerian To Play For Man City
Published: July 19, 2019It is foregone conclusion that Manchester City will allow Nigerian young star Tosin Adarabioyo depart the club before the close of the summer transfer window, with manager Pep Guardiola omitting him from the traveling squad to Asia.
The Lancashire Telegraph is reporting that Championship club Blackburn Rovers are close to a loan move for the versatile defender.
Adarabioyo is predominantly a central defender but can be used as a right-back and a makeshift left-back.
Blackburn Rovers had the worst defensive record away from home in the English second-tier last season and manager
Tony Mowbray is keen to strengthen their defensive ranks.

The 21-year-old Adarabioyo is the fourth youngest Nigeria-eligible player to debut for Manchester City, behind Nedum Onuoha, Tom Dele-Bashiru and Felix Nmecha.
He made his first debut for the Citizens in a 5-1 loss to Chelsea in the FA Cup back in February 2016 and has played 8 games in total for the first team.
A former England youth international, Adarabioyo spent the entirety of last season on loan at West Brom.
