Published: August 19, 2019Liverpool loanee Ovie Ejaria has been named in the EFL Championship Team of the Week by Whoscored.
The football statistics website picked the Reading midfielder in its Team of the Week following his impressive performance for the Royals as they claimed their first league win of the season in style, thrashing Cardiff City 3-0 on August 18.
Sunday's game against the Welsh side was Ejaria's first appearance in the league for the Royals since returning to the

In a 4-4-2 formation, the former Golden Eaglets invitee was named in midfield alongside John Swift (Reading), Ivan Cavaleiro (Fulham) and Jarrod Bowen (Hull City).
Ejaria completed a game-high eight dribbles vs Cardiff City, made a joint game-high four tackles and was the top interceptor with three.
Adedeji Oshilaja, Chuks Aneke (both Charlton), Bright Osayi-Samuel, Luke Amos, Ebere Eze (all QPR), Semi Ajayi (West Brom), Dominic Iorfa (Sheffield Wednesday), Oghenekaro Etebo (Stoke City), Sammy Ameobi (Forest) and Bright Enobakhare (Wigan) were in action for their respective clubs in the latest round of matches in the Championship.
