The draw for the Third round of the Carabao Cup was held on Wednesday night after the conclusion of Round 2 matches across England with fixtures revealing that Nigerian players will be significantly involved in the next round.

The next round of the Carabao Cup will hold on the week commencing on September 23.

Leicester City with Wilfred Ndidi being a key part of the squad will be away to Luton Town. Kelechi Iheanacho is the other Nigerian at the club albeit has not played yet for the club do far this season.

Bukayo Saka and Tolaji Bola (currently injured) might be in line for some game time as Arsenal welcome Nottingham Forest to the Emirates Stadium while Oghenekaro Etebo is expected to play for Stoke City in their trip to Crawley Town.

Alex Iwobi and Everton's reward for beating Lincoln City is a trip to Hillsborough, where they take on Sheffield Wednesday.
