Awoniyi, Odey Start; Onyeka Bench As Nigeria Announce Starting XI Vs Sudan U23s

Dream Team VII head coach Imama Amapakabo has unveiled his starting line-up for Thursday evening's Olympic Games qualifier against Sudan at the Al Merriekh Stadium in Omdurman.

Wikki Tourists goalkeeper Abubakar Adamu has been selected to be in between the pipes ahead of Agbor Ekoi.

The defence contains four players plying their trade in the domestic championship Stephen Manyo, John Lazarus, Ebube Duru and Ndah Olisa.

The Nigeria U23s will be captained by Azubuike Okechukwu and the Istanbul Basaksehir man starts in midfield.

Liverpool loanee Taiwo Awoniyi and Racing Genk's Stephen Odey have been named in attack.

FC Midtjylland's Frank Onyeka and Lusitano de Vildemoinhos's Collins Nonso are among the seven substitutes on the bench.
