Nigerian Teenagers To Keep An Eye On: Real Madrid Midfielder Who's On NFF Radar
Published: September 07, 2019The 2019-20 season is in its full gear in Europe and clubs are making sure that their respective mission for the season are accomplished as soon as possible.
In our series of Nigerian teenagers tipped for greatness during the season, we shift our attention to one of the pacy attack-minded midfielders in the Segunda División B — Real Madrid's highly rated attacking midfielder Marvin Olawale Park.
Mostly regarded as a winger by spectators, Real Madrid's official website describes the 19-year-old as a threatening attacking midfielder, whose pace and attacking instincts makes him comfortable at both flanks of the pitch.
Marvin was promoted to the Madrid Castilla team prior to the start of this season after featuring in seven UEFA Youth League competition for the U19 side last term.
The Nigeria-eligible teenager has played two matches for the RM Castilla, and he is one player who should be monitored by soccer-loving Nigerians throughout the campaign.
Internationally, Marvin has featured in one game for Spain U19s but he's still eligible to play for the Super Eagles in the future.
It is believed that the Nigeria Football Federation are equally keeping close tabs on the youngster's development.
''Definitely Akinlabi is in our plans.'' NFF Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi told allnigeriasoccer last year.
