Former Liverpool Kid Adekanye Scores Three Of Lazio's Seven Goals In Friendly
Published: September 08, 2019Former Liverpool super kid Bobby Adekanye will fancy his own chances of making his professional debut for Lazio after the international break after netting a hat-trick for the Serie A outfit in a friendly on Saturday, September 7.
Simone Inzaghi's boys faced Leonardo Menichini's Biancoceleste Primavera in a training match at the Central Field of the Formello Sports Center, with the first team running out 7-0 winners.
Adekanye showed his predatory instincts with his three goals scored from inside the box; two left-footed strikes and a header bundled home from close range.
The Nigerian-born winger made the match day squad for Lazio's opening match of the season against Sampdoria on August 25 but was not in the 23 the following weekend vs AS Roma.
Manager Inzaghi has granted two days of rest to the players not called up to their national teams and they will resume training at the Formello Sports Center on Tuesday.
Bobby Adekanye was unable to break into Liverpool's first team squad during his four-year stint at the club he joined from Barcelona in the summer of 2015.
