Nigeria U23 Camp News : Nwakali Trains; Okonkwo, Okereke Missing; Etiboy On The Mend
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the Dream Team VII have stepped up their preparations for the return leg of their U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan with a training session in Asaba this morning.

The players, who arrived in Asaba from Abuja on Saturday afternoon, departed their hotel to the stadium at approximately 0630 hours and returned three hours later.

Former Arsenal midfielder Kelechi Nwakali was part of this morning's workout having linked up with the squad yesterday.

With the exception of Akwa United defender Etiboy Akpan who complained of being ill, all the players in camp participated in the training session.

The initial prognosis is that the fullback will resume training with the team in the afternoon, with the players expected to leave for training at 1530 hours.

Regarding the availability of Orji Okonkwo and David Okereke who were handed late call-ups, nothing has changed as both players are set to miss the game against Sudan.

Montreal Impact and Club Brugge have not approved their trip to Africa.
