Lampard Issues Two Demands To Tammy Abraham Ahead Of Trip To Wolves
Published: September 13, 2019Chelsea coach Frank Lampard has demanded more goals from Tammy Abraham ahead of his side's trip to the Molineux, where they face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Saturday.
The England U21 star has shown passion on the pitch since the start of the season and Lampard wants more enthusiasm from his number nine.
Heading into the fixture against Wolves, Abraham is not lacking in confidence with four goals in his last two starts, though he was left out of the England roster for the games in September.
On Abraham, Lampard told reporters at the pre-match conference :''Very good, and I am delighted for Tammy. His enthusiasm and the goals, similar to Mason I want more and he wants more. Everyone needs to be ready.''
Abraham has to maintain his excellent start to the season as French World Cup winner Olivier Giroud and Belgium star Michy Batshuayi are waiting in the wings if he suffers a dip in form.
Chelsea, who occupy the 11th position in the Premier League table, have two home games against Valencia and Liverpool after their trip to Wolves.
