Here is a round-up of the Carabao Cup games involving Nigeria-eligible players on Tuesday evening.

At the Emirates Stadium, Gabriel Martinelli (2), Rob Holding, Joseph Willock and Reiss Nelson helped Arsenal secure a comprehensive 5-0 victory against Nottingham Forest.

Bukayo Saka made his debut in the competition after replacing the injured Smith Rowe in the 45th minute, teammates Folarin Balogun and Tolaji Bola were included in a matchday squad for the first time in their Arsenal careers, while Forest's Sammy Ameobi was a 59th minute substitute.

Elsewhere, Oghenekaro Etebo came off the bench in the 46th minute as Stoke City were beaten on penalties by Crawley Town at the People's Pension Stadium.

It was 1-1 at full time. The Nigeria international converted his spot kick in the shootout.

Colchester United's Omar Sowunmi was a non-playing substitute in his side's win on penalties  against Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

At Vicarage Road, Tom Dele-Bashiru made Watford's 18 but failed to come off the bench as they recorded a hard fought 2-1 victory against Swansea City. The injured Isaac Success was not in the matchday squad as expected.

Danny Welbeck's 28th minute goal was cancelled out by Sam Surridge on 34 minutes and the scoreboard did not change until the 79th minute when Roberto Pereyra scored the winner for the Hornets.

At Hillsborough, Everton returned to winning ways by beating Sheffield United 2-0 thanks to a four-minute brace from Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the first half.

Super Eagles winger Alex Iwobi played the full game along with Owls duo Dominic Iorfa and Moses Odubajo.

Iwobi played a low cross for Calvert-Lewin to net his second of the game at minute ten.

Finally, at Kenilworth Road, Wilfred Ndidi started and featured for 77 minutes in Leicester City's 4-0 hammering of Luton Town.

The Foxes were 3-0 up courtesy of goals from Demarai Gray, James Justin and Youri Tielemans, before Kelechi Iheanacho added more gloss to the scoreline in the 86th minute.

The Super Eagles striker entered the game as a substitute in the 71st minute; he chipped goalkeeper James Shea for 4-0.
