Chelsea Striker Abraham's First Words After Recall To England Squad
Published: October 03, 2019Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham on Thursday afternoon took to Twitter to express his excitement at his England call-up for the forthcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Czech Republic.
Abraham and Fikayo Timori have been in the news since the start of the season amid Nigeria's interest to have the duo declare their allegiance to the country of their fathers.
England head coach Gareth Southgate this afternoon named the duo for the matches and the duo can become cap-tied to the 1966 world champions by featuring in any of the competitive matches.
The message and picture was accompanied by that of a blue heart.
Nigeria will on 13 October play an international friendly against Brazil at the Singapore National Stadium.
Abraham has scored seven Premier League goals so far this season.
