Brazil Vs Nigeria Friendly : NFF Announce Replacement For Injured Leganes Defender Omeruo
Published: October 05, 2019Super Eagles experienced defender Kenneth Omeruo will not be part of the Nigerian squad to face Brazil on October 13 due to injury and has had his place taken by Benfica's right back Tyrone Ebuehi.
The Twitter handle of the Super Eagles confirmed so on Saturday afternoon.
Omeruo picked up the injury in training at his club Leganes which necessitated his being omitted for the La Liga game against Levante this weekend.
Omeruo had missed the friendly against Ukraine due to an inability to procure visa to the eastern European country.
Interestingly Ebuehi pulled out of the match against Ukraine due to injury but has sufficiently recovered to make the trip to Singapore where the high profile match will hold.
Ebuehi missed the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations due to the injury setback.
