Abraham, Tomori In Line To Play Cap-Tying Game As Chelsea Duo Report For England Duty
In-form Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham reported for international duty with England on Monday thus ending speculations that he was doubtful for the upcoming games against Czech Republic and Bulgaria.

Abraham had to be treated on the pitch after picking up an injury against Southampton and later made way for Michy Batshuayi in the 84th minute.

Chelsea coach Frank Lampard insisted after the Premier League game at St Mary's Stadium that his number nine was in good condition, saying ''He took a bang on the back of the knee but he’s ok. I think he just wanted a round of applause''.

Nigerians all over the world are monitoring developments with keen interest as they want Abraham to play for the Super Eagles despite the fact he was born in England and a homegrown player.

The English Football Association have published photos of Abraham and his good pal Fikayo Tomori at St George's Park in Staffordshire ahead of the Three Lions first workout.

Should they play in any of the 2020 European Championship qualifying matches against Czech Republic and Bulgaria, the duo will become cap-tied to England.

A world champion at U20 level with England back in 2017, Tomori was born in Calgary and previously represented Canada's youth team before switching his allegiance to England.
