Brazil Vs Nigeria Friendly : Rohr Receives Good News From Rangers Boss Gerrard On Aribo
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has received good news from Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard regarding the availability of Joe Aribo for the upcoming international friendly against Brazil.

It had been feared that the central midfielder would not be available for selection after he picked up a head injury in a League Cup clash against Livingston on September 25.

Aribo has made a swift recovery and took his place on the Rangers bench in Sunday's 5-0 demolition of Hamilton Accies.

Manager Gerrard has confirmed that the former Charlton Athletic star will fly to Singapore to join his international teammates.

In quotes carried by the Glasgow Evening Times, he said : ''Joe (Aribo) was very close to being 100% so that is a positive for us.

''I would have Joe if needed but I wanted to give him his scar as much time as possible to heal, he will go away on international duty and probably be involved with Nigeria''.

CD Leganes defender Kenneth Omeruo and Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu have withdrawn from the Nigeria squad due to injuries.
