Nigeria Players Scorecard In Europe Last Weekend
The much hated International break is over, players are back in their respective clubs. Allnigeriasoccer.com takes a look at some Nigerian players performance in Europe last weekend.

England

Alex Iwobi was influential for Everton as the Toffees blew the Hammers away at Goodison Park. Iwobi was on the pitch for 87 minutes before making way for Gylfi Sigurdsson who went on to score Everton's second goal.

Wilfred Ndidi played all 90 minutes for the Foxes as Leicester defeated Burnley two goals to one to move in third on the league table. Ndidi has been impressive so far for both club and country this season while Kelechi Iheancho couldn't make the matchday squad.

In the Championship, Etebo was on feature for Stoke city and gave an impressive performance of himself as Stoke city beat Fulham two goals to nil. With this result, Stoke have only gotten their second victory in 12 championship games this season.

The duo of Isaac Success (Watford) and Leon Balogun (Brighton and Hove Albion) were not named in the match squad for their clubs last weekend.

 
Turkey

Trabzonspor vs Rizespor – In a game which featured two Nigerian in the starting XI for both sides, Super Eagles striker Anthony Nwakeme played 90 minutes and was able to register an assist in a game that saw the home side breeze past Gaziantep FK 4 – 1, fellow Nigerian Striker Olanrewaju Kayode had a bad game as he was sent off on the 84th minutes.

The duo of John Obi Mikel and Ogenyi Onazi were not listed for the game. The victory sees Trabzonspor move up to second place on the league table.

Abdulahi Sheu played all 90 minutes for second division side Bursaspor who were 2 – 1 victors over opponent ümraniyespor despite playing with 10 men in the second half.

Aminu Umar was a second-half substitute for his side Rizespor in a 5 – 2 away defeat to table toppers Alanyaspor.
 

Spain

Granada 1 – 0 Osasuna – Super Eagles midfielder Ramon Azeez was a second-half substitute in Granada's win over Osasuna to continue their impressive run in La Liga sitting comfortably in the third position.

Leganes wait for their first victory of the season continues as they lost two goals to nil to Getafe thanks to a brace from Angel Rodriguez. Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo played all 90 minutes for Leganes and was booked in the process as his side suffered yet another defeat in the league.

Meanwhile fellow compatriot, Chidozie Awaziem was an unused substitute for Leganes.

Impressive Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze could only wait till the 81st minutes before he could get playing time replacing goal scorer Toko Ekambi in his side 1 nil victory against Catalan side, Espanyol.

 
Italy


Nigeria defender William Troost – Ekong played all 90 minutes and had a stellar performance in Udinese victory over Torino. At the other side, full-back Ola Aina was an unused substitute in the game.

Forward, Simeon Nwankwo played 68 minutes for Crotone in Seria B in his side 1 all away draw to Pisa, making way for Andrea Nalini. The victory sees Crotone sit in the second position after eight games.

Joel Obi also saw action for second division side Chievo in a 2 nil victory over Ascoli, coming off in the 59th minute .

 
France


In form Lille striker, Victor Osimehn couldn't find the net while playing 90 minutes for his French side as Lille lost 2 goals to 1 away from home to Toulouse.

Two Nigerians were on parade as Bordeaux lost at home to St Etienne. Winger Samuel Kalu played 55 minutes before being taken off while forward Josh Maja was brought in on 84th minutes. Elsewhere, winger, Moses Simeon played 68 minutes in Nantes away defeat to Metz.

 
Belgium

Finally in Belgium; Striker, Paul Onachu was a second-half substitute in Genk's 1-0 defeat to Standard Liege .
