Hoogewerf Becoming One Of The Most Trusted Players In Man Utd Youth Set-up

His qualities has earned huge plaudits since he swapped Amsterdam for Carrington last summer, and his consistent upward trajectory has even drawn the interest of the club's higher ups.
Just last week, former Manchester United coach Alex Ferguson, current first team boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his assistant Michael Carrick witnessed first hand as the starlet tormented Middlesbrough in an U-18 league game, and even the club's U23 handler Neil Wood has come to cherish the quality he can bring to the side.
The 16-year-old played the entirety of his side's 1-1 draw with Boro on Saturday, but was yet in action last night in the Premier League 2 as United thrashed Swansea City 4-1.
He came off the bench in the 80th minute to replace Ethan Laird and helped see out the game, a win which propelled them to second with 19 points on the division standings.
Clearly, Hoogewerf has made a quick leap in his Manchester United career and will definitely be looking to follow in the follow in the footsteps of the likes of Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, Axel Tuanzebe and others who have gone on to become important players for the senior team after dazzling for the youth teams.
