'Leicester Did Win The Premier League' - Dennis Says It's Not Impossible For Brugge To Win UCL
Published: October 22, 2019Nigeria national-teamer Emmanuel Dennis says it's not impossible for Club Brugge to win this season's UEFA Champions League.
The winger is drawing inspiration from Leicester City who won the Premier League title in the 2015-2016 season against the odds.
Heading into Club Brugge's matchday three fixture against a star-studded Paris Saint German side at Jan Breydel Stadion, Dennis is full of confidence having scored three goals in his last three appearances for the Belgian side, including a brace against Real Madrid.
''I want to win everything! Why not the Champions League?'' Dennis told Het Laatste Nieuws.
''Why don't you believe that Club can win the Champions League? “Leicester did win the Premier League, hey - the best competition in the world. Winning the Champions League seems impossible, but you have to believe in it.''
Emmanuel Dennis' Club Brugge occupy the second position in Group A of the Champions League with two points, four less than leaders PSG.
