Lille Coach Refuses To Rule Out Osimhen From Marseille Trip As Tests Confirm Adductor Injury
Lille coach Christophe Galtier has refused to categorically rule out Victor Osimhen from his side's trip to Marseille on Saturday, November 2.

The Nigeria international had to be replaced in the 58th minute against Bordeaux last weekend and tests conducted have confirmed that the striker has suffered an adductor muscle injury, L'Equipe reported on Monday night.

Osimhen is feeling discomfort in his adductor muscle and his availability against Marseille is very uncertain.

''To date, I cannot say that Victor will not play against Marseille. It is primarily a matter of feeling on his part and his opinion will be important,'' Galtier told the French sports daily.

Speaking post-match after the win vs Bordeaux, manager Galtier revealed that Osimhen was feeling pains before the match and the Nigerian was about to be replaced before he got injured.

The Lille number seven has scored eight goals from 14 appearances in all competitions since transferring from Sporting Charleroi in the summer transfer window.
