Ecuador Coach Highlights Two Qualities Of Golden Eaglets; Outlines Plans To Beat Difficult Opponent
Published: October 29, 2019Ecuador U17 coach Javier RodrÃguez has revealed his game plan to beat Nigeria when both teams trade tackles on Tuesday evening in Group B of the World Cup.
Having won their opening games, the African and South American teams are fighting for the leadership of the group and qualification to the round of sixteen.
Explaining how he will attempt to beat Nigeria, he told Radio Area Deportiva (99.3 FM in Quito) : ''Nigeria is a difficult opponent, has five championships in this category, has a physical power and mental capacity, we will take advantage of the individual.
''We have to take advantage of the confidence that Nigeria has and the space they leave us''.
The Golden Eaglets have reached the finals of the FIFA U17 World Cup eight times and won the competition in 1985, 1993, 2007, 2013 and 2015.
