Rohr Handed Another Major Injury Boost As Super Eagles Skipper Returns To Action
Nigeria's head coach, Gernot Rohr has been handed a big injury boost after Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa returned to action in a league game for his Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr on Saturday evening.

The former Leicester City attacker who has been out with a knee complain since August played the last seven minutes at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium and came through unscathed as his team recorded a 4-0 victory over Abha.

Musa has not played for Nigeria since the third place game at the last AFCON and missed Nigeria's last two high profile friendlies against Ukraine and Brazil.

His return will come as a heartwarming boost for Rohr who has named him in his latest squad list for November's qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho.

The 27-year-old posted a heartfelt thank-you message to the club and his supporters on his twitter handle for the support he received during his time on the sidelines.

Thus Musa will not be lacking match fitness if he gets minutes in both of Al Nassr's next two games,  versus Al Faisaly on Wednesday 6th and against Afief on Saturday 9th before reporting for international duty.
