Released Arsenal Wonderkid Ebiowei Ends Trials With West Ham, On The Radar Of Other EPL Teams
Published: December 04, 2019
Former Arsenal starlet Malcolm Ebiowei has completed his trial period with Premier League club West Ham and has set his sights on further improving his career, allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed.
Ebiowei shares the same agent as Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi and it is known that the agency has close links with English topflight clubs Manchester City, Everton as well as teams in Germany and France.
Upon leaving Arsenal, the highly-rated attacking midfielder started an audition for the London stadium outfit in November, scoring on his debut game for the club's U-16s while also dazzling for their U-18s all on the same day.
Though the Hammers hierarchy are yet to make a decision on whether they will be engaging the 16-year-old, it is understood that plans have been put in place for the youngster to train with several other Premier League clubs before making a decision on his next career step.

Arsenal reportedly baulked at offering the Nigeria U-17 invitee a scholarship deal to continue his development with them due to some off-field issues.
Ebiowei trained with the Golden Eaglets in Sao Paulo but was a surprise omission from the Nigeria roster to the FIFA U17 World Cup.
