Four promising players of Nigerian descent were in action as Leicester City erased a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 with Chelsea in a Premier League 2 tie at the Electrical Services Stadium in Aldershot on Friday night.

The fit again midfielders Tariq Uwakwe and Faustino Anjorin were named in Chelsea's starting line-up while Calvin Ughelumba and Josh Eppiah started for the Foxes.

Chelsea got their noses in front in the 28th minute through Anjorin, whose fierce right footed effort beat goalkeeper
Johansson, before Lawrence doubled the advantage on the hour mark after a terrific burst in midfield by the Anglo-Nigerian.

Tyrese Shade got a goal back to half the deficit with 16 minutes remaining, assisted by Eppiah, and two minutes into injury time, a brilliant header from Darnell Johnson brought Leicester City level.

Following his strike tonight, Anjorin took his tally for the season to ten goals in all competitions for Chelsea's youth teams, and has produced five assists in 21 games.

The England U19 international has scored in each of his last three games - against Aston Villa U18s and the U23 teams of Everton and Leicester City.

Chelsea U23s, who are unbeaten in the Premier League 2 this term and top the table with 32 points, face Arsenal in a mouthwatering clash in their next league match on February 17.
