Done Deal : Ex-Flying Eagles Midfield Maestro Completes Transfer To Belarusian Club Rukh Brest
Published: February 01, 2020Belarusian Premier League club Rukh Brest have officially announced the capture of former Flying Eagles midfield maestro Chidi Osuchukwu.
Osuchukwu has signed a contract with the First League champions for a period of one year, until December 2020.
The 26-year-old has joined Rukh Brest as a free agent following his release by another Belarusian club Dynamo Brest, where he spent three years.
Osuchukwu was one of the standout players in the Flying Eagles squad to the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup and earned himself a move to Sporting Braga after the tournament in Turkey.
He played two matches for Sporting Braga's first team during his four-year stay with the club and was an influential member of the B team, for whom he made 98 appearances, scoring 5 goals.
Osuchukwu won the Belarusian Premier League and Belarus Super Cup with Dynamo Brest in 2019.
He wore the colours of Gateway and Dolphins before his move to Europe in 2013.
