Former Everton Star Lookman In RB Leipzig's Provisional Squad Vs Tottenham Hotspur
Published: February 18, 2020Former Everton and Charlton Athletic winger Ademola Lookman is in contention to make his second appearance in the Champions League when RB Leipzig battle Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Lookman was among the RB Leipzig players that flew to the English capital on Tuesday.
It remains to be seen if he is given game time or named in the matchday eighteen by manager Julian Nagelsmann as he has found playing opportunities hard to come by since his summer move to the Bundesliga club, making only seven appearances, mostly as a substitute, since then.
His only start for RB Leipzig came against Zenit St Petersburg on matchday three when he lasted 69 minutes on the pitch.
Lookman's only appearance to date against Tottenham Hotspur was on the final day of the 2018-2019 season, coming off the bench to replace Bernard in a 2-2 draw.
The 22-year-old and his teammates will train at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this evening.
