Super Eagle Ogu Reveals That He'll Give Up His Salary To Play In Midfield With Ndidi
Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu on Monday evening revealed that he will give up his salary to play in midfield with fellow Nigerian international Wilfred Ndidi.

The Al-Adalah of Saudi Arabia player who joined the club on a free transfer in January this year let his feelings known in a tweet he put out.

"If am asked to choose between to give up my salary or play in the middle with Ndidi,I will give up my salary to play next to him in the middle.

"Since he started playing for Eagles (Nigeria national team),all my best games with Eagles was when I had him middle with me," Ogu stated.

Reacting to his international teammate's tweet, Leicester City's Ndidi who is one of the world's most accomplished defensive midfielders urged his friend to seek his wages for his labour.

"@ogujohnugo. Humbled bro πŸ™πŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎ but collect you money ooπŸ˜‚," Ndidi enthused.

Both players are restricted to being with their families as the Coronavirus pandemic has put paid for now, to football and indeed other sports.
