2013 AFCON Winner Victor Moses Tipped For Return To Chelsea This Summer
Published: May 05, 20202013 Africa Cup of Nations-winning winger Victor Moses continues to be linked with an exit from Inter Milan in the coming weeks, meaning he has to return to his parent club Chelsea and await further developments before the close of the summer transfer window.
Sempreinter.com making reference to Monday's print edition of Turin-based sports daily Tuttosport has reported that the former Nigeria national-teamer is among five players facing uncertain futures at Inter Milan, the others being Diego Godin, Kwadwo Asamoah, Cristiano Biraghi and Matias Vecino.
The report added that it is unlikely the Nerazzurri will activate the option to buy Moses on a permanent deal as they are already targeting several fullbacks in the upcoming transfer window.
In the event that the Nigerian returns to the Blues, he is not in the plans of manager Frank Lampard and it is expected that they will be looking to sell him or risk losing him for nothing when he comes off contract in June 2021.
Now Chelsea's joint-longest serving player along with César Azpilicueta, Moses has spent only three full seasons at the club since his arrival in August 2012.
Inter Milan are his fifth loan club, having previously played for Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham and Fenerbahce on a temporary basis.
