Bournemouth Beat Stoke City To Signature Of Tottenham Hotspur's Nigerian Midfielder
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Bournemouth have bolstered their academy ranks with the capture of promising Nigerian youngster Ferdinand Okoh.

The central midfielder will be among the new intake of The Cherries Academy scholars for the 2020-2021 season, having accepted their offer of a two-year scholarship.

Okoh's last club in England before agreeing terms with Bournemouth was Tottenham Hotspur, whom he joined from West Ham in February 2019.

He had to look for a new employer because he wasn't offered a scholarship to become a full-time Tottenham U18 player for next season.

The highly-rated teenager had brief trials at Bournemouth and Stoke City but opted to move to the Premier League side.

The Cherries have in their ranks Nigeria U20 star Nnamdi Ofoborh and two former England youth internationals of Nigerian parentage in the shape of Dominic Solanke and Jordon Ibe.

Bournemouth U18s participated in the Youth Alliance League, Youth Alliance Cup and FA Youth Cup this season.
