Arsenal Planning To Keep Liverpool Target Saka Regardless Of Whether Or Not He Signs New Deal
Published: May 09, 2020Bukayo Saka has been one of the revelations of the English Premier League so far in the 2019-2020 season.
Arsenal have offered the versatile winger a fresh five-year deal with the current agreement between club and player set to run out at the end of next season.
His contract situation has alerted some of the top clubs in Europe not limited to Liverpool, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
Saka fits Liverpool's recruitment policy of signing exciting young players and he offers versatility as he is capable of playing as a left-back, wing-back and winger.
According to Football Insider, Arsenal are planning to keep hold of the 18-year-old beyond this season regardless of whether or not he appends his signature to a new multi-year deal and will reject bids for the England U19 international in the upcoming transfer window.
The Hale End Academy product has suited up 29 times in all competitions this season and he's Arsenal's highest assist provider with nine.
The Nigeria Football Federation are keeping tabs on Saka with a view to call-up to the Super Eagles if he switches allegiance from England to Nigeria.
