'Paul Pogba-Like' Nigerian Wonderkid Joins Manchester United
Published: May 18, 2020Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Nigeria-eligible striker Cole Marsden-Umebuani has completed a transfer to English Premier League giants Manchester United.
Manchester Evening News reported on Monday that United have added six talented youngsters to their academy namely Cole
Umebuani, Teddy Sherwood, Jaice Dore, Rafael Smith, Dane Mullings and
Ka’eo Ingram, and this website has confirmed that Cole is eligible to
represent Nigeria through his father.
Marsden-Umebuani has joined the Red Devils from Fletcher Moss Rangers, which produced Marcus Rashford, Wes Brown and Danny Welbeck.
The 8-year-old Marsden-Umebuani has drawn comparisons to Manchester United star Paul Pogba.
Predominantly a striker, he is strong, dominant, fast, has the ability to control the tempo of a game and drops into midfield fluidly during five-a-side and six-a-side matches.
A brother of three siblings, Marsden-Umebuani is clever outside of football.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands Cole's younger brother Kobi Marsden-Umebuani, who is currently an U7 player, could be joining him at Manchester United next year.
