Confirmed : Former Bolton Wanderers Winger Leaves Sochaux On A Free Transfer
Former Bolton Wanderers winger of Nigerian descent Tope Obadeyi will leave Sochaux on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of this month, the French Ligue 2 club confirmed through their official website on Friday morning.

The 30-year-old joined Sochaux in 2018 and played 13 games for the club in all competitions, scoring one goal in the Coupe de France.

Prior to Obadeyi's switch to Sochaux, he wore the jerseys of Rio Ave, Bury, Kilmarnock, Dundee United and Oldham Athletic.

He was loaned out to Swindon Town, Rochdale, Shrewsbury Town and Chesterfield whilst at Boton Wanderers, where he spent six seasons, and also featured on loan for Plymouth Argyle during his Bury days.

Born in Birmingham, Obadeyi has caps for England at U19 and U20 levels and was a member of the Young Lions squad to the 2008 European U19 Championship.

He spent his formative years as a footballer with the youth team of Coventry City.
