Fulham central defender insists on playing for England over Nigeria
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Fulham central defender Tosin Adarabioyo has insisted on playing international football for England over Nigeria.

Born in Manchester twenty four years ago, the Manchester City academy product qualifies for Nigeria through his parents and has played non-binding games for the Young Lions in the past.

The likes of Ola Aina and Ademola Lookman filed one-time switches to play for Nigeria and it is understood that Adarabioyo is not about to follow suit.

The Nigeria Football Federation have also bagged dual-eligible players Alex Iwobi and Joe Aribo, who were previously eligible for England.

Adarabioyo's minders were recently sounded out about the possibility of the defender playing for Nigeria and in an attempt to convince his representatives, they were informed that Rangers star Leon Balogun will soon call time on his international career, but their feedback was negative.

Tosin thinks he stands a chance of getting into the England team next season if Fulham are promoted back to the Premier League.

He is hoping to follow in the footsteps of his former teammates in the England youth teams Tammy Abraham, Dominic Solanke, Marcus Rashford and Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who have all made their senior debuts for England.

Fisayo Adarabioyo, Tosin's sibling, was courted by the Nigerian Federation eight years ago, only for the striker to reject an invitation to join a Nigeria U23 training camp head of the 2016 Olympic Games.
