Arsenal, Leicester, Crystal Palace stars named in Ghana's 27-man squad for WC playoff vs Nigeria
The Ghana Football Association have finally confirmed the Black Stars roster for the eagerly anticipated 2022 World Cup playoff with regional rivals Nigeria.

An analysis of the squad list revealed that four goalkeepers, nine defenders, six midfielders, four wingers and four strikers have been summoned for both matches by manager Otto Addo.

There are call-ups for Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey and Crystal Palace striker Jordan Ayew.

Also included on the roster are Ajax Amsterdam young sensation Mohammed Kudus, AS Roma super kid Felix Afena Gyan and former Fulham fullback Denis Odoi.

Only one domestic based player in Hearts of Oak defender Dennis Korsah made the squad list announced on Tuesday, March 22.

The Super Eagles will take on Ghana in two matches scheduled for Kumasi and Abuja on March 25 and March 29 respectively at the Baba Yara Sports Stadiumand Moshood Abiola Stadium.
